Nicole Conroy grew up in Topeka, Kansas and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing from Kansas State University in 2016. She currently lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri.
Her work focuses on the mental process of creating. She consistently corrects, intensely looks at, and reworks her pieces. Her creative faculties lend to her observation of nature and understanding of life. She strives not to create something beautiful, but to struggle and grow through the creative process and find beauty there. Through the mental process of drawing she both appreciates and seeks the truth of each line she places.
